Margot the Dachshund

Where do I even begin when I am describing Margot, my partner in crime, my ride or die bitch?

Margot came to be my pet on December 4, 2014 which was sadly the one year anniversary of my grandmother’s sudden death. I saw this sad little dog go on Fulton County Animal Services website looking a bit lost, so I messaged them and asked about her. I was told that at the time they did not believe she was suitable for adoption because she was showing aggression in the shelter. Without a doubt or hesitation. I told them I would foster her to give her a chance. FCAS contacted the angels over at DREAM dachshund rescue and let them know that only was there a dog in danger, but that I was willing to foster her. Things moved so quickly, and the next thing I knew I was driving to Decatur, GA without so much as a dog leash to pick up this dog. The shelter had named her “Juicy” and I came up with Margot which very much suits her. Ever since then I have been attached to her at the hip, and she decided she likes me too, she was my first foster and ended up being a foster failure. Since then, I have fostered 4 other dachshunds (and one chihuahua) for DREAM. They are simply the best. Please do not ever hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding fostering or adopting a rescue dog 🙂
